There are many factors which will determine the effectiveness of a workout. Energy levels, mindset, and the biochemical and hormonal state of your body will affect the workout itself, and the results of it.
Breathwork causes a biochemical shift in the body! One of those shifts is a change from the hormones of stress, to happy hormones! It will be easier to look upon your workout for what it really is, an investment of some strain and pain, for the future benefits of a stronger and healthier body.
As your cortisol (stress) levels lower, your natural hormones like testosterone and estrogen will rise up, along with the “happy” hormones. So, through your intentional breath and the biochemical shift it causes, you bring balance to your hormonal system, which in turn heightens the benefits of that workout!
Try it out before your exercise sessions, and see if there is a change in how you perform!
